International Career
Shimron Hetmyer made his Test debut for the West Indies on April 21, 2017, against Pakistan.
Later that year, he made his One Day International (ODI) debut on December 20, 2017, against New Zealand, followed by his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut on January 1, 2018, also against New Zealand.
In February 2019, Hetmyer set a record by scoring the fastest century by a West Indies batsman against England in an ODI, reaching the milestone in just 82 balls.
Hetmyer was named to the West Indies squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. On June 17, 2019, in a match against Bangladesh, Hetmyer reached the milestone of 1,000 ODI runs.
