There are a ton of different Events to play during the 2.5 update of Zenless Zone Zero. Each one offers unique requests, game modes, and challenges to play and complete to get rewards.
They’ll only last as long as the update does, so you only have a few weeks to do them all! To help you out, here’s a guide to all the current events and their rewards.
🤔 What Are the Events in ZZZ?
The Events in Zenless Zone Zero work as some of the main highlights for each update. They can provide new story quests, exclusive rewards like new W-Engines or Bangboos, and mini-games to add some variety.
Other Events can also have players complete side quests as they continue playing.
For example, some may just require you to take photos of specific landmarks around the world. Meanwhile, an Event can just give you rewards for logging into the game every day. To get even more rewards, you can also find top-ups on u7buy.
⚔️ The Sword Seeker Chronicles
In the Sword Seeker Chronicles Event, you can go into a sandbox world to defeat enemies once per day. Each day unlocks a new combat level to complete each fit with their own rewards.
By the end, you’ll earn some special materials to upgrade Agent Skills, especially Ye Shunguang’s! Players will get to use her sword during this Event, so the game is completely themed around her. Just make sure you keep checking for more levels to get everything.
To help you complete all the combat levels, you’ll also be unlocking the new Ye Shunguang abilities for your Agent.
This only lasts while you’re in the mode though, so don’t expect to actually take it into combat outside the Event. After that, you’ll get to also earn some free Rank-A W-Engines along with some accessories.
🔍 Joint Investigation – The Divine Maze
The Joint Investigation Event is very similar to the previous Sword Seeker Chronicles one, but a lot harder.
Instead of fighting hordes of enemies through multiple levels, you’re fighting individual bosses with your best parties. This Event is ending soon on January 22nd, so if you haven’t started it yet, it’s best to do so now!
There are five parts of this Event, but they aren’t that different from each other. The majority of the levels have bosses and enemies who will use Lightning against you.
Knowing this, don’t use party members or teams with heavy Lightning attacks unless you have a way to Break their resistances. Besides the Time Trial challenge, you’ll just need to beat the bosses as best as you can.
🌊 The Shadow Riptide Clash
The Shadow Riptide Clash Event is once again another combat-heavy game. However, this Event is a lot more complicated than the others. Instead of just beating all the available enemies or bosses in a level, you have to complete certain tasks.
Some levels will require you to proc an Ultimate or defeat some enemies in a certain time. Doing so will unlock specific rewards like new Drive Discs and W-Engines.
🪽 The Angels and Delusions of Muse
Moving away from combat for a bit, this Event is all about taking photos instead. To help the idols at the 404 Livehouse, you have to take some photos around New Eridu to give them some inspiration.
For the quest, you’ll be tasked to go to some very specific locations for songs the idols will write. Complete them all and you can get some Bangboo pulls for the newest banner.

There’s a total of 3 different login bonus Events for ZZZ 2.5. Two of the Events give currencies for extra pulls for Bangboos and W-Engines or Agents.
By logging in every single day, you can earn a bunch of pulls for the new separate banners aside from the Agents. This is great for players that struggle with balancing their pulls before the end of each phase.
However, there’s one login Event is extremely important to keep track of. For the new Agent, Zhao, you can actually get a free copy of her without needing the banner! You don’t even need to login multiple times either.
The first time that you load into ZZZ during the update, you’ll get Zhao automatically when you enter the Event’s page.
