Then in 2019, he won two more Challenger titles in Campinas, Brazil, and Lima, Peru, plus a gold medal in doubles and a bronze medal in singles at the Pan American Games. After qualifying for the Davis Cup Finals in Madrid, Spain, he won two singles matches for Peru at the ATP Tour’s Chile Open in 2020.

He played at the Tokyo Olympics as a qualifier, where he lost to Karen Khachanov of Russia in the first round. He also played at the Chile Open, where he lost to Christian Garin of Chile in the quarterfinals.
