Tomica Woods

Tomica Woods is the owner and CEO of Ruthless Records. She is the wife of late rap legend, Eazy E. This article contains information about her net worth, salary, relationship life, and other details.

On December 7, 1969, Woods was born in Lost Angeles, California. Her parents divorced when she was young. As a result, she had to split her time living in both her parents’ homes. She was also in foster care for some time. Woods got her media studies and management degree from West Los Angeles College.

Woods started working in the music industry after graduation. She also worked as the executive assistant of legendary music executive Clarence Avant, at Tabu Records. Tomica met and started dating Eazy-E in 1991 when he was at the peak of his career. Though Woods was wary about Eazy-E’s lifestyle as he had a reputation of being a ladies’ man and shared 9 children with eight different women already.

While Eazy-E was busy on stage after releasing popular and commercially successful albums like “Straight Outta Compton” and “Niggaz4Life”, Woods managed his record label, “Ruthless Records” as a secretary. The label was already successful after working with NWA, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, and Bone Thugs N Harmony.

Woods inherited control of Ruthless Record, following Eazy-E’s death in 1995, only after 12 days of their marriage. Under her wings, the record label was looking at success like usual, by signing new artists like Stevie Stone, Atban Klann (who would go on to be known as The Black Eyed Peas), and Hopsin. Woods also helped produce the biopic “Straight Outta Compton”, based on her husband’s rap group, “N.W.A” in 2015. The biopic earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay and won various high-profile international film association awards.
