WWE 2K25 released its fifth and final character pack today, bringing back five legendary wrestlers from the golden age of professional wrestling.

The Saturday Night’s Main Event Pack honors the iconic television specials that helped turn WWE into a global entertainment powerhouse during the 1980s.

The new downloadable content features Jesse “The Body” Ventura, “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff, Tito Santana, Junkyard Dog, and Sid Justice.

All five Hall of Famers competed during Saturday Night’s Main Event broadcasts that captivated audiences on NBC.

These special shows featured championship matches and unique stipulation bouts that became legendary moments in wrestling history.

The pack includes more than just playable characters. Gamers get access to over 60 new moves and taunts inspired by each wrestler’s signature style.

MyFACTION cards are also available for each Superstar, giving players new options to build their ultimate wrestling roster.

Jesse Ventura makes his first appearance in a WWE video game with this release.

Known as one of wrestling’s greatest heel color commentators, Ventura provided memorable moments alongside Vince McMahon and Gorilla Monsoon.

His quick wit and brutal honesty made every match more entertaining for fans at home.

After his wrestling career ended, Ventura achieved success beyond the ring. He served as governor of Minnesota and transitioned into Hollywood with roles in action movies.

His larger-than-life personality fit perfectly with the Saturday Night’s Main Event atmosphere.

Paul Orndorff earned his “Mr. Wonderful” nickname through impressive physical prowess and devastating wrestling ability.

He competed in the main event of the first-ever WrestleMania alongside “Rowdy” Roddy Piper against Hulk Hogan and Mr. T. That historic match helped launch WrestleMania into the annual spectacle it remains today.

Orndorff used his powerful build and signature piledriver finisher to great effect throughout his career.

After leaving WWE, he captured the WCW World Television Championship and became a two-time WCW World Tag Team Champion. His induction into the WWE Hall of Fame cemented his legendary status.

Tito Santana stands as one of the most beloved Superstars of the 1980s and 1990s.

The two-time Intercontinental Champion and two-time WWE Tag Team Champion thrilled fans with his high-flying style.

He competed in the opening match at the first WrestleMania and won the 1989 King of the Ring tournament.

Santana’s flying forearm smash finisher and figure-four leglock made him dangerous both in the air and on the mat.

He could excite crowds with athletic moves one moment and technical wrestling the next.

Later in his career, Santana entertained fans as a Spanish announce table commentator.

Junkyard Dog brought unique energy and personality to every match. He often barked, bit the air, and crawled on all fours before locking up with opponents.

This entertaining entrance routine made him stand out among an already memorable roster of legends.

Once the bell rang, Junkyard Dog stood toe-to-toe with the biggest and best wrestlers of his era. He absorbed punishment with seemingly little effect before dishing out headbutts and his crushing “Thump” powerslam finisher.

The WWE Hall of Famer also captured the WCW World Six-Man Tag Team Championship and won a Slammy Award for “Best Single Performer.”

Sid Justice rounds out the pack with his imposing presence and powerful wrestling style. His intensity and physical dominance made him a force during the golden era. Justice competed in major storylines and memorable matches that defined Saturday Night’s Main Event programming.

Players can purchase the Saturday Night’s Main Event Pack individually through digital stores on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

The pack also comes included with the WWE 2K25 Season Pass, Ringside Pass, Farewell Tour Edition, Bloodline Edition, and Deadman Edition.

WWE 2K25 currently holds the title as the highest-rated game in franchise history on Xbox.

The strong reviews reflect improvements in gameplay, graphics, and roster depth. This final DLC pack caps off a successful year of post-launch support for the wrestling game.

The game continues receiving updates through MyFACTION Live Events available to all players. An upcoming Persona Card featuring the WrestleMania 41 version of Penta will release soon.

The MyFACTION Galaxy Opal Token Market will also open in the near future, offering powerful new cards for players to collect.

The Saturday Night’s Main Event Pack brings WWE 2K25’s DLC releases to a close.

Earlier packs added current stars like Penta, the Motor City Machine Guns, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and Jordynne Grace.

Other legends including Mark Henry, the New Age Outlaws, and Abyss joined the roster throughout the year.

The timing of this final pack release works perfectly with WWE’s current programming. The company recently brought back Saturday Night’s Main Event as a special broadcast on Peacock.

Wrestling fans can enjoy both the classic legends in WWE 2K25 and new Saturday Night’s Main Event shows featuring current superstars.

This DLC honors the foundation that golden era wrestlers built for modern WWE. Jesse Ventura, Paul Orndorff, Tito Santana, Junkyard Dog, and Sid Justice helped turn professional wrestling into mainstream entertainment.

Their memorable characters and exciting matches during Saturday Night’s Main Event specials created fans who still follow WWE decades later.

Gamers can now recreate classic matchups or create dream scenarios with these five legends. The extensive move sets and authentic taunts help capture what made each wrestler special.

WWE 2K25 players have one more reason to boot up the game and step into the ring with wrestling royalty.
