FAQs: Hurricanes vs Kraken
How can I watch Hurricanes vs. Kraken on TV or streaming?
You can watch Hurricanes vs. Kraken on Hurricanes Hockey Network in Carolina’s market and KONG in Seattle. Seattle-area streaming is available on Prime Video across Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho and Montana, with no extra subscription for Prime members. In Carolina’s territory, HHN on Prime Video costs $19.99 a month or $99.99 a year; a free Amazon account is enough, with no paid Prime membership required. Out-of-market fans can stream through NHL Power Play on ESPN+, subject to regional blackouts.
What time does Hurricanes vs. Kraken start?
Puck drop is at noon Eastern on Thursday, November 12, 2026. That’s 11 a.m. Central and 9 a.m. Pacific, so U.S. fans should plan for a daytime game.
Where is the game being played, and who is the home team?
The game is at Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki, Finland, as part of the 2026 NHL Global Series Finland. Seattle is the designated home team, with Carolina playing as the visitor despite the overseas venue.
Does this Global Series game count toward the regular-season standings?
Yes. This is a 2026–27 NHL regular-season game, not an exhibition. The teams are competing for standings points just as they would in a regular-season matchup in North America.
Will the Hurricanes and Kraken play another game in Finland?
Yes. They meet again at Veikkaus Arena on Saturday, November 14. The Helsinki trip includes two regular-season games, with each club serving as the home team once.
