Williams did the majority of her scoring from beyond the arc and drilled four triples for the fifth time this season, a mark that currently stands as a season high for the 29-year-old. Following Thursday's victory, she'll head overseas for the FIBA World Cup and be away from the team for Sunday's matchup against the Fire, likely opening up more playing time for Laeticia Amihere, Tiffany Hayes and Kaila Charles. Williams is expected to rejoin Golden State prior to the Valkyries' Sept. 18 matchup against Portland.

Salaun struggled to find the bottom of the net in this one, though she managed to contribute elsewhere by turning in her best rebounding night since July 10. She'll end her streak of double-digit scoring performances at five games following Thursday's showing. Salaun will now set her sights on the FIBA World Cup and is slated to miss Sunday's matchup against the Fire to head overseas. She's expected to return to the Valkyries in time for a Sept. 18 matchup against the Fire.

Zandalasini wasn't very efficient, particularly from three-point range, though she still finished with a team-high 19 points. She also tied for the team lead in assists. The 30-year-old guard had her contract temporarily suspended by the Valkyries ahead of the World Cup, so her next chance to suit up for the club will come against the Fire on Sept. 18. Zandalasini and Italy will now look toward Sunday's game against the United States.

Mwenentanda is currently away from the team, so for now, she should be considered questionable for their next game in Dallas on Sept. 17. She is not a consistent part of the rotation in Los Angeles.

Rupert signed a multi-year contract with Golden State during the offseason and missed the start of training camp due to an overseas commitment. Her status for the 2026 regular season now appears to be in jeopardy due to her pregnancy. The 24-year-old made 21 regular-season appearances (11 starts) for the Valkyries last year and averaged 9.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 23.1 minutes per game. If Rupert is sidelined in 2026, Janelle Salaun, Kiah Stokes and Laeticia Amihere are candidates to see increased work.
