César Jasib Montes Castro, a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a center-back for La Liga club Espanyol and the Mexico national team, was born on February 24, 1997.
He competed for Mexico’s senior, under-21, and under-23 national teams. He made his professional debut for the Mexico national team on July 13, 2017.
Early Life
He caught the eye of the opposition team during a youth league playoff game with Pob. Miguel Alemán against Monterrey.
He was eventually added to the Monterrey youth team, and on August 2, 2015, during the opening of the Estadio BBVA Bancomer, Montes played his first game for Monterrey against the Portuguese team Benfica.
