About Emilio Gomez
Emilio Gomez was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador on November 28, 1991. His father taught him how to play tennis from when he was six years old until he was eighteen.
He then went to Florida to train with Nick Bollettieri at the IMG Academy. He turned pro in 2013, and since then, he has mostly played on the ATP Challenger Tour.
Emilio Gomez was born to a sports family. His father, Eduardo Gomez, was a professional tennis player who played for Ecuador at the Davis Cup.
