In 1984, Mark was attributed on the Cover page of the Magazine Thrasher, where he performed a trick called ‘bean plant’. On the cover, he was riding the board, which was sponsored to him by Alva.
After a while, Mark began professional skating at the age of thirteen, and by the age of fifteen, he had already innovated modern approaches to skateboarding on the streets. He won the Oceanside Street Contest in 1985, right after being sponsored by Vision!
Through Blind Roller Skates Video, Mark contributed to the simultaneous growth of street skateboarding around the year 1991. In 2011, he helped open the brand shop Supreme in London. He basically designed and painted it. As a result, he was offered collaborations with Supreme, which was featured in the S/S21 collection.
Mark is also an actor, having appeared in films like Gummo (1997), How They Get There (1992), Beautiful Losers (2008), and Southlander (2003).
