About Anett Kontaveit
Anett Kontaveit was born in Tallinn on December 24, 1995. She began playing tennis at the age of six and was coached by her father, Andrus Kontaveit until she was ten.
She then joined the AOTK Tennis Club in Tallinn and trained under Rene Busch and Silver Karjus, who had previously coached Kaia Kanepi. She also attended Audentes Sports School in Tallinn.
