Christel Khalil Net Worth Details
As of 2026, Christel Khalil has an estimated net worth of $4 million.
Her fortune comes primarily from her decades-long role on The Young and the Restless, supplemented by residuals, occasional film work,
and select brand-related activity throughout her career.
Khalil’s financial foundation rests almost entirely on her television work, which spans more than two decades on one of CBS’s flagship properties.
While her net worth may not reach the heights of prime-time drama stars,
her longevity in daytime television gives her a steady, compounding earnings profile that most entertainers simply cannot match.
Khalil’s contract terms, episode guarantees, residual statements, appearance fees, investments, and personal assets are private.
Generic soap-opera salary ranges therefore do not establish her actual annual income.
The Young and the Restless
Khalil joined The Young and the Restless as Lily Winters in 2002, becoming closely associated with one of the show’s central families.
Her tenure has included departures and returns rather than one uninterrupted run.
CBS says she left in 2005, returned in 2006, stepped back in 2018, and resumed full-time work in 2020.
Lily’s storylines have covered family conflict, relationships, motherhood, illness, grief, incarceration, and corporate leadership.
That gave Khalil unusually broad dramatic material for a character introduced as a teenager.
CBS’s official biography continues to identify Khalil as Lily Winters on the series.
For another actress with a long-running television career and major dramatic roles, our Maura Tierney profile offers related context.
Daytime Emmy Win
Older profiles sometimes describe Khalil only as a nominee, but that is incomplete.
She won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2012 for Lily Winters.
She has also received additional Daytime Emmy nominations across different stages of her career, including supporting-actress recognition.
That record reflects industry recognition for sustained daytime work rather than simply longevity on a popular soap.
Marriage and Family
Khalil is married to businessman Sam Restagno.
The couple met in 2016, became engaged several years later, and married in Puglia, Italy, in October 2024.
She has one older son from her previous marriage and two younger children with Restagno.
In February 2026, Khalil revealed that she had welcomed her third child, her second with Restagno.
Soap Opera Digest reported the birth and confirmed that the new baby expanded the family to five.
Khalil returned to work after maternity leave, continuing her role on The Young and the Restless during 2026.
Career Beyond Y&R
Although Lily Winters defines Khalil’s public career, she has also worked in film, guest television, and animation.
Her credits include child acting, guest appearances on NCIS and 2 Broke Girls, and voice work as Cornelia Hale in W.I.T.C.H.
Those projects broaden her résumé, but her professional identity remains most strongly tied to daytime television.
That concentration makes it especially important not to estimate personal wealth by multiplying assumed per-episode rates across hundreds of broadcasts.
Financial Context
Long-running soap performers can receive income through acting contracts, residuals, appearances, conventions, promotional work, and occasional outside projects.
However, daytime contracts vary by guaranteed episodes, seniority, storyline usage, and negotiated terms.
Khalil has not disclosed those details, and CBS episode volume or fan-event activity cannot be converted directly into personal earnings.
Her verified career longevity and ongoing 2026 employment provide meaningful context without manufacturing annual salary or lifetime-earnings tables.
