Achraf Hakimi scored the first hat-trick of his career as Paris Saint-Germain recovered from an early setback to beat Le Havre 5-1 on Friday, October 30.
The PSG captain also supplied two assists at Stade Océane, turning a potentially awkward away assignment into a commanding victory in Ligue 1’s ninth round.
According to PSG’s official match report, Josh Maja put the hosts ahead after 18 minutes, finishing Rayan Fofana’s cross at the end of a rapid counterattack.
Paris responded through Mika Godts in the 26th minute. Lucas Hernández released Hakimi, whose delivery allowed the Belgian attacker to bring the visitors level.
Two minutes later, Hakimi completed the turnaround himself. Senny Mayulu timed his pass into the right side of the penalty area, and Hakimi beat Arnaud Bodart.
That quick response changed the contest without immediately removing Le Havre’s threat. Paris led 2-1 at halftime, having turned the hosts’ advantage around in two minutes.
Hakimi then produced the night’s standout strike in the 55th minute, curling a direct free kick beyond Bodart to give PSG a two-goal cushion.
Maja nearly brought Le Havre back into contention, heading against the post just after the hour. The missed opportunity was followed almost immediately by another Paris goal.
Hakimi sent Mayulu through in the 62nd minute, and the forward beat Bodart to the ball after the goalkeeper rushed out, finishing into an empty net.
Godts supplied the move for Hakimi’s third goal seven minutes later. The fullback’s latest run into the area completed his hat-trick and PSG’s five-goal response.
The Moroccan was involved directly in every Paris goal. His attacking movement, delivery and finishing gave Luis Enrique’s reshuffled side a decisive outlet throughout the contest.
Hakimi made way for young defender David Boly in the 71st minute. Matvey Safonov later denied Mbwana Samatta and Rassoul Ndiaye as Le Havre kept trying.
So Foot’s report recorded PSG’s ninth consecutive league victory. For Le Havre, Maja’s opening goal ultimately offered little protection against the visitors’ clinical response.
The result also delivered a club milestone for Luis Enrique. PSG confirmed it was his 127th victory in charge, moving him clear of Laurent Blanc.
Paris now turns toward Tuesday’s Champions League visit to Villarreal. The comfortable finish allowed Enrique to introduce replacements after his captain had settled the match.
