ATP Bastad 2022 Preview

The ATP Bastad 2022 or Swedish Open 2022 is taking place in Bastad, Sweden. The men’s tournament will start on 11 July and run till 17 July. Whereas, the women’s tournament started on 4 July and ran till 9 July. The 2022 edition is the 74th iteration of the men’s tournament. However, previously the women’s tournament was part of the Nordic Light Open. As so, this year’s tournament was the 12th edition of the women’s event.

In 2022 ATP Bastad, a total of 24 players participated in men’s singles and 32 players participated in the women’s single. The event also featured separate doubles events for both men and women. South Korean, Jang Su-Jeong became the champion in women’s single. Furthermore, the Misaki Doi and Rebecca Peterson duo captured the Women’s double title of 2022.

Schedule

The men’s qualifying rounds were held on July 10 and 11. The main draw commenced on July 11 after the qualification round was completed. The quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals will be held from July 15 to July 17. The doubles finals are scheduled for July 17, 2022.

The Swedish Open for ladies has already concluded. It began on the 4th of July and ended on the 9th of July.
