Brooke M. Henderson is a Canadian professional golfer who has won five major championships, including one LPGA Championship and three majors on the Symetra Tour. She was named LPGA Tour Rookie of the Year in 2015 and Player of the Year in 2018.
In 2019 she became only the fifth golfer ever to win all four legs of golf’s Grand Slam in a single season – The Masters Tournament (April), U.S Open (June), British Open Championship (July), and Women’s PGA Championship (August).
She also finished as runner-up at two other majors during this period: The ANA Inspiration for first place by 1 stroke over Jessica Korda; The Evian Championship by 2 strokes over Ariya Jutanugarn.
Her parents are Jeff and Bonnie Henderson (both are golf professionals). She has two siblings: Billy and Emily; Billy became her caddy when she was just six years old!
Henderson started playing golf at age 5 with her father as her coach, who later became the head pro at Grand Valley Golf Club (the club where Brooke learned to play).
