A few years after surgery and rehabilitation, she won several ITF titles and rose to the top of the rankings. In 2019, she returned to Valencia to train with her coach Javier Ferrer and won two ITF titles worth $25k. 

She reached the third round of the Australian Open and the second round of the French Open in 2021 and also won one match and lost one in Spain’s Fed Cup debut. The following year, she reached the third round of the Australian Open again and broke into the top 50 for the first time.
